Scott, Sharon, Damon, Tony and Brandon, thanks for bringing this old house back to life! Its 96 years old and had new... stucco applied in March. It is super rough (nice look) and soaks up the paint. Plus, there are a lot of trim pieces that had to be "cut in" in a different color. It is now completed and gets a lot of comments. Nicely done!The best part of the job is that the crew was extremely neat. Facia and windows were masked and there is hardly a drip that I cold find on the lower brick or driveway. They were easy to work with and even accommodated my requests to add extra paint or caulk where needed.The crew came well equipped with ladders and tools, was able to procure all the paint needed without delays and were professional.What could be better? I did find some overspray on a couple of storm windows. Somehow it got under the masking. It was easy to clean off from inside of the house, so no harm, no foul.I am very satisfied with the quality of the work. SNL is highly recommended!read more

I am always leary of a company with only five star reviews, but these people deserve all five stars.I want to thank... Tim and Nathan and crew for a job well done.Tim began with the monumental task of removing wallpaper in my kitchen, floor to ceiling, with a 16' vault. Very impressive, he was able to remove all of the wallpaper and backing in one day. Very clean and no damage to the walls.In two and a half days the crew painted walls and ceilings of a large great room, laundry room, open stairwell and good sized kitchen, all vaulting to about 16". The stairwell from landing to top of vault measures approximately 18 to 20 feet. They also repaired the drywall in several spots and fixed a couple of taping issues. Beautiful job. They put all of the furniture back in the proper places and left the house broom clean.It snowed the last day they were here and Tim shoveled the sidewalk and drive to be safe and to keep from dragging snow into the house. Very thoughtful. Very professional. Best painters we have ever hired! (And we have hired many as we have moved many times).Thanks again for your hard work.read more

I have used SNL to paint the interior of my home about a year ago. I was happy with their work, so I went back to them... this summer for some exterior staining. Everyone was professional and pleasant to work with, including: Matt, Sharon, Justin, Damon, and Nick. They power washed the front of my house, and then came back another day to stain two porches (including the underside of an upstairs porch) for $1130. They carefully taped and tarped around their work to prevent any drifting paint. They finished the job in one day and did a nice job cleaning up. I will go back to them for future work. SNL Painting completing transformed the interior of our home! It looks updated, clean, and fresh. Nick came out to walk... through and hear what we wanted to prepare a bid. Because we were going with much lighter colors he suggested we have the fireplace ‘whitewashed’. Both Nick and Matt showed us before and after pictures and we were sold. What a difference, it’s gorgeous! We also had the kitchen cabinets painted and I feel like I’m living in a display house. They look so beautiful! It was a big project that took four weeks but all of the crew was friendly, courteous, and professional. They didn’t even mind when our two Labs tried to ‘help’! Rob, Tim 1, Tim 2, Josh, and Chris always arrived on time and cleaned up before they left for the day. We always talked at the end of the day about the next day’s work so that I would be prepared. They were also very courteous and helpful to me. I had selected my paint colors, and when they found out I had selected an interior paint color for the contrast for the doors, they took my paint sample to the paint company and had an exterior paint made in that color. They handled clearing the furniture off the porch and taking down the porch swing, and putting it back afterwards, including hanging the swing with new chains I had purchased. We had the exterior brick and our garage doors/aluminum trim painted on our newly built home (our builder wouldn’t... accommodate the look we were wanting when we built). To say we were please with the work that SNL and specifically Nick did would be a huge understatement. Nick took extra care on taping off all surrounding areas/stone and making sure everything was exactly as we wanted. Also, for jobs like these I am of the opinion price is a factor, just not the only factor. Scott came out and provided an estimate (20 minute process) and once we accepted, Matt got us on the schedule. Anyone having work done on their home knows it is very difficult to find a contractor that is competent and reliable. ... I found both in SNL Painting!! We have a very large, old home in St. Charles that needed painted. SNL was very easy to work with, from the beginning of the process (when I called to schedule an estimate) to the very end. The crew ALWAYS arrived by 7:00 am. (even when they could not begin work right away due to too much dew on the house) On the one day when they were not going to arrive as usual, they notified me the day before! They were friendly and diligent. They cleaned up every day and checked in with me often about the plan.Not only did our home need paint, it also needed some carpentry work. SNL was able to do this through an in-house carpenter. The only deviation to the estimate was the cost to fix a "mistake" I made regarding color : ) and an unforeseen carpentry expense. Scott, Sharon, Damon, Tony and Brandon, thanks for bringing this old house back to life! Its 96 years old and had new stucco applied in March. It is super rough (nice look) and soaks up the paint. Plus, there are a lot of trim pieces that had to be "cut in" in a different color. It is now completed and gets a lot of comments. Nicely done!The best part of the job is that the crew was extremely neat. Facia and windows were masked and there is hardly a drip that I cold find on the lower brick or driveway. They were easy to work with and even accommodated my requests to add extra paint or caulk where needed.The crew came well equipped with ladders and tools, was able to procure all the paint needed without delays and were professional.What could be better? I did find some overspray on a couple of storm windows. Somehow it got under the masking. It was easy to clean off from inside of the house, so no harm, no foul.I am very satisfied with the quality of the work. SNL is highly recommended!

I am always leary of a company with only five star reviews, but these people deserve all five stars.I want to thank Tim and Nathan and crew for a job well done.Tim began with the monumental task of removing wallpaper in my kitchen, floor to ceiling, with a 16' vault. Very impressive, he was able to remove all of the wallpaper and backing in one day. Very clean and no damage to the walls.In two and a half days the crew painted walls and ceilings of a large great room, laundry room, open stairwell and good sized kitchen, all vaulting to about 16". The stairwell from landing to top of vault measures approximately 18 to 20 feet. They also repaired the drywall in several spots and fixed a couple of taping issues. Beautiful job. They put all of the furniture back in the proper places and left the house broom clean.It snowed the last day they were here and Tim shoveled the sidewalk and drive to be safe and to keep from dragging snow into the house. Very thoughtful. Very professional. Best painters we have ever hired! (And we have hired many as we have moved many times).Thanks again for your hard work.

I have used SNL to paint the interior of my home about a year ago. I was happy with their work, so I went back to them this summer for some exterior staining. Everyone was professional and pleasant to work with, including: Matt, Sharon, Justin, Damon, and Nick. They power washed the front of my house, and then came back another day to stain two porches (including the underside of an upstairs porch) for $1130. They carefully taped and tarped around their work to prevent any drifting paint. They finished the job in one day and did a nice job cleaning up. I will go back to them for future work. Thanks, SNL!

This is the second time that we had SNL Painting power wash and stain our deck and they did an amazing job. We also hired them to seal our driveway and power wash our house. SNL Painting completing transformed the interior of our home! It looks updated, clean, and fresh. Nick came out to walk through and hear what we wanted to prepare a bid. Because we were going with much lighter colors he suggested we have the fireplace ‘whitewashed’. Both Nick and Matt showed us before and after pictures and we were sold. What a difference, it’s gorgeous! We also had the kitchen cabinets painted and I feel like I’m living in a display house. They look so beautiful! It was a big project that took four weeks but all of the crew was friendly, courteous, and professional. They didn’t even mind when our two Labs tried to ‘help’! I had selected my paint colors, and when they found out I had selected an interior paint color for the contrast for the doors, they took my paint sample to the paint company and had an exterior paint made in that color. We had the exterior brick and our garage doors/aluminum trim painted on our newly built home (our builder wouldn’t accommodate the look we were wanting when we built). To say we were please with the work that SNL and specifically Nick did would be a huge understatement. Nick took extra care on taping off all surrounding areas/stone and making sure everything was exactly as we wanted. He even confirmed with us on one of the items we had initially decided on, but then after talking to him decided to go a different way (which we were very thankful we did). He was punctual, professional, and just a super nice guy to work with. The quality of work is outstanding. We were a little anxious having this done to our home with it being brand new, but couldn’t be happier with the results! I highly recommend SNL Painting and Nick!!

I needed my basement walls scraped and resealed in my 1937 bungalow. The old coating was crumbling. Rob and his team came in and made it look great! After the job was done and paid for I noticed there was some discoloration on a couple of my walls. I contacted SNL and they scheduled Rob to come back and make it right. I would highly recommend SNL, they are professional and I could tell they take pride in their work and doing a good job. Will use them on my next job!

Nick and his team are fantastic - the superior quality of their work speaks for itself but what really impressed us was their responsiveness, showing up when they said they would, and how polite and friendly there were around our family and young kids. SNL painting just completed a job at my house and I was highly impressed!!! They painted all 26 of our shutters, repaired and painted the front door and painted our pillars and garage doors. Everyone I came into contact with during this process was very professional and personable. Tim, along with Rob and Ryan showed up on time daily and worked hard the whole time. They cleaned up daily and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. I got multiple quotes on this job and SNL had the best price by far. I would highly recommend them for any painting job.

This is the third time we have had SNL do painting for us. We have been very pleased with the results every time. The crew is very punctual, polite, and professional. Not only did they do painting for us - they installed several light fixtures for us as well. This time we added on some areas that were not previously in the original job and they worked extra hard to get the job done and actually finished a little ahead of schedule even with the extra work. The two very small issues we found that needed to be corrected were taken care of in a timely manner. We would recommend this company to anyone needing painting done. You will not be disappointed!

SNL did an excellent job. Josh refinished my kitchen cabinets, which were in deplorable condition, and they are beautiful. Look like new cabinets. They also painted the hallway, foyer, which they also removed paper borders in both, the family room and kitchen. Look great. They were very neat and protected my floor, carpet and furniture. Their work is very neat. I was impressed on how they went out of their way to minimize the upset in our home. Few little imperfections but no problem. They fixed them and made them like new. They aim to please. Last, but not least, they are a top notch company and any needed work in the future they will be the company we hire.

Very professional from the estimator (Scott) to project manager (Matt) to the gentleman (Ryan & Justin) that performed the work. Treated our home as if it was theirs. Very informative throughout the project. Each day I was informed of the work that was going to take place. At the end of the day, I was updated on the work performed. Everyone involved was very accommodating when we changed the scope of the work. Would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

I had an entire upstairs painted with multiple rooms including 14 foot ceilings. As some others have shared, SNL was not the lowest bid, but they certainly were competitive. Also, for jobs like these I am of the opinion price is a factor, just not the only factor. Scott came out and provided an estimate (20 minute process) and once we accepted, Matt got us on the schedule. Luke and Nick headed up our project and I could not say enough good things about their professionalism and skill sets. They shared knowledge, provided advice and pointed out some areas where they were going to give some additional detail. I am really looking forward to working with them on our next in home project, thanks again SNL.

We got several bids when we were looking for a painter for the interior of our house. SNL was not the lowest bid but was a competitive bid. We decided to go with them due to their professionalism. Scott the estimator, Matt the scheduler and Tim and Nick the painters were outstanding. We had the entire interior of our house painted. Three floors of ceilings, walls and trim. They were on a tight schedule but completed it in time. It took two weeks and they accommodated us staying in the house!They worked well with our contractor. Communications was great-we knew what they had planned for each day. Any issues that came up were handled immediately and to our satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend their company. This is our first experience using SNL Painting, and they were awesome. We had a small job - just getting our garage door painted - and they treated us like we had a much larger job. Matt scheduled our door to be painted on a Saturday to beat the cold weather. We found this to be over and above any of our expectations. They also were able to find a perfect color match to the new shutters we recently put on the house. The work was done perfectly, and they even left the extra paint for us. Zero complaints. Awesome experience. We are definitely going to be long term customers and recommend to anyone.

Anyone having work done on their home knows it is very difficult to find a contractor that is competent and reliable. I found both in SNL Painting!! We have a very large, old home in St. Charles that needed painted. SNL was very easy to work with, from the beginning of the process (when I called to schedule an estimate) to the very end. The crew ALWAYS arrived by 7:00 am. (even when they could not begin work right away due to too much dew on the house) On the one day when they were not going to arrive as usual, they notified me the day before! They were friendly and diligent. They cleaned up every day and checked in with me often about the plan.Not only did our home need paint, it also needed some carpentry work. SNL was able to do this through an in-house carpenter. The only deviation to the estimate was the cost to fix a "mistake" I made regarding color : ) and an unforeseen carpentry expense. I was informed beforehand about both.The project is done and the house looks stunning! We could not be more pleased with the results and recommend SNL without hesitation!
